Our Methodology

How We Rate Sports Betting Sites

Every sportsbook in our rankings is scored against five weighted categories. No gut feelings, no paid placements, just structured testing with real deposits and timed withdrawals. Here is exactly how we arrive at each score.

Payout Reliability

30%

The single most important factor. We request a real withdrawal at every book and time exactly how long the money takes to arrive, by crypto and by card. A book that pays slowly, or drags out verification, loses points no matter how good the odds are.

2

Odds & Line Value

25%

We compare spreads, totals and moneylines against the wider market on games Indiana bettors actually wager, the Colts, Pacers, Hoosiers and Notre Dame, and reward books that consistently offer reduced juice and genuine value.

3

Market & Prop Depth

20%

We check how far each book goes beyond the main lines: player props, alternate spreads, same-game parlays, futures and coverage of niche and college markets. Fewer restrictions on winning bettors scores higher.

4

Live Betting

15%

We place in-play wagers during live games to measure how fast lines refresh, how deep the in-game menu is, and how often the bet slip rejects a wager. A frozen live book is a broken live book.

5

Banking & Bonuses

10%

We read every rollover clause in full and weigh the true value of a welcome offer against how realistically it can be cleared. We also test the range and speed of deposit and withdrawal methods, favoring crypto for its speed.

Independence First

We earn a commission when readers open accounts through our links, but a book cannot pay for a better ranking. Scores come only from testing. When a sportsbook falls short, a slow payout, a limited winning account, a bonus that is impossible to clear, we report it plainly. See who does the testing on our Our Experts page.
